Children Education

The aim of mini medics is to provide education to children.


Thursdays 4 years to 8 years of age 1630 - 1730


Thursday 8 years to 14 years of age 1800 - 1900


First Aid

different first aid subjects are broken down in to learning outcomes.

Children work through a folder gaining achievements when completing each outcome.

Subjects include:

  • Safety
  • CPR
  • Defibrillation
  • Wounds and Bleeding
  • Fractures
  • Choking
  • Burns and Fire Safety
  • Unconscious Patients
  • Team Work
  • Heroes
  • Anatomy


Badges

When all outcomes have been achieved the child will receive a badge for that particular subject.

This badge is a symbol that the student is not just proficient but has become an ambassador in that subject and will be invited to help teach that subject at events and to their school and class, helping to educate more children.

Values

Other subjects include team work, safety and the hero badge. teaching the children the importance of personal and life skills which can be used in all aspects of life.

Awards

The children will gain awards in many different ways including:

  • Tests
  • Continued observation
  • Scenarios 
  • Practicals 
  • Games

This is to help the children and replicate what they may face in the future. By learning these skills now they will be more prepared and ready for tests they may have to face for education and career progression.


Cost

The price is set over a term. 

We only have limited space so booking is essential.


TERM 5 April = 5 weeks £ 32.50

TERM 6 June = 7 weeks £ 45.50

TERM 1 September = 7 weeks £45.50

TERM 2 November = 7 weeks £45.50

TERM 3 January = 6 weeks £39.00

TERM 4 February = 6 weeks £39.00
